Garden birds are becoming increasingly dependent on what we put out for them in our gardens and it is claimed some species that have been in decline are now starting to increase in number.  It is becoming increasingly important to provide high-quality and dust free mixtures, so you can be confident that by offering our exceptionally high standard mixtures and straights, you are giving the wild birds every possible chance to flourish.  In return you gain the pleasure and enjoyment of watching an ever increasing number of species visiting your feeders every day. It is important to try and feed birds all year round and not just in the depths of winter.

 

Our range of top quality bird seed mixtures containing  a blend of seeds or straights  are available in a range of sizes from 1kg/litre to 10kg/litre. We do not sell our products in bags but durable plastic tubs with sealed lids and handles. This keeps the contents in good condtion if stored correctly and is less likely to be attractive to mice and rats if you store it in the garden shed or garage.

There are many cheaper low grade mixtures of bird food on the internet, predominantly cereal based with considerably less nutritional value and are less likely to attract birds.  They also contain split peas, beans, dried rice or lentils as only the large species can eat them dry. These are added to some cheaper seed mixes to bulk them up. Also try to avoid any mixture containing green or pink lumps as these are dog biscuit, which can only be eaten when soaked thoroughly beforehand.
